All of our registered users' information (Name, Email, Phone Number & Address) are secure with us. We are committed to taking care of all information and we promise our customers that we are never going to share their information with any third party.

We do not store any credit card information on our servers. All payments are processed by world-leading payment gateways including PayPal and Stripe, and our site is secured by SSL encryption.

MakeMyDash collects the following types of data when you use our platform:

• Account information such as your name, email address, and organization details provided during registration.
• Database connection metadata (connection names, types, and associated organizations) — we never access or store the actual contents of your database.
• Usage data including questions asked, tokens consumed, dashboards created, and feature interactions to improve our service.
• Technical data such as browser type, IP address, and device information for security and performance monitoring.

We use the data we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the MakeMyDash platform and its features.
• Process your natural language queries through our AI engine to generate accurate SQL and visualizations.
• Track usage and token consumption for billing and cost management purposes.
• Send important service updates, security alerts, and product announcements.
• Ensure the security of your account and prevent unauthorized access.

MakeMyDash collects data related to your usage of makemydash.com and associated services.

If you have an account on our platform, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

MakeMyDash uses AI-powered language models to convert your natural language questions into database queries. When you ask a question:

• Your question and relevant database schema metadata are sent to our AI provider for processing.
• We do not send the actual contents of your database to any AI provider — only the structural metadata (table names, column names) needed to generate accurate queries.
• AI-generated SQL queries are executed securely through RPC functions deployed on your own database.
• Token usage from AI processing is tracked and visible to administrators in the Usage section.

When you enable public sharing for a playlist, anyone with the shared link can view the dashboards in that playlist without logging in. Please be aware that any data displayed on those dashboards will be visible to anyone who has the link. It is your responsibility to ensure that shared playlists do not contain sensitive or confidential information that should not be publicly accessible.

• The product or service purchased has stopped functioning or is not displaying as described in its details, is broken, and we are not able to provide you a solution.
• A critical platform outage lasting more than 72 consecutive hours has prevented you from using MakeMyDash, and our team has been unable to resolve the issue.
• You were charged incorrectly due to a billing error on our end.

• The product or service purchased is functioning as described and you simply no longer wish to use it.
• You opened any dispute before telling our support team about your problem.
• Token or AI usage has already been consumed during your billing period.
• Service disruption was caused by issues with your own database connection or third-party AI provider.

You can cancel your membership with us anytime by sending an email to our support team at mahek.shah@makemydash.co or by opening a support ticket. We are also working on adding the ability to cancel your membership directly from your account settings.
